There are three villas on this hillside above Kalamata. Three private pools catching the afternoon light. Three terraces where guests sit long after dinner, watching the Messinian Bay change colour as the sun goes down.
Behind all of it are two people.
We built Kalma because we believed the Messinian Bay deserved more than anonymous accommodation — and because we wanted our guests to feel what we feel every morning when we look out at that view.
The three villas — Thalia, Klio, and Ourania — were designed from the start as the kind of place we’d want to stay ourselves. Every room with an unobstructed view of the bay. Every kitchen stocked and genuinely functional. Every pool private, because privacy is not a luxury — it is the point.
Verga chose us as much as we chose it. There is something about this hillside — the elevation, the quiet, the way the light moves across the water at different hours — that made it clear this was where Kalma had to be. Eight kilometres from Kalamata, above the city noise, with the whole bay laid out before you.
We are not a resort. We are not a property management company. We are Patricia and Christos, and we built three villas we are proud of — and we are here when you need us.
We will greet you ourselves, show you around, and make sure everything is exactly as it should be.
The best taverna in the valley, the quiet beach most tourists miss, the exact time of day the bay turns gold — we will tell you, because that is what friends do.
